Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point Book Antiqua font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are expected to submit articles in clear and concise English. Articles should be written in the third person, impersonal style, and use of ‘I/we’ should be avoided. Maximum length of paper should not exceed 5,000 words excluding citations and references. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words (one paragraph only) together with 4 to 5 Keywords. All measurements should be in metric units (SI units), or state metric equivalents. Words in other than English language should be in italics. Citation in the text and list of reference should be in American Psychological Association (APA) style 7th version. Entries of the references should be in alphabetical and chronological order of authors (DOI preferred). The manuscript must be in 11 point font in Times New Roman, with margins of at least 1 inch and with an initial capital letter for any proper noun. Manuscripts must be submitted into separate files: i) Cover Letter/Acknowledgments file; ii) Manuscript (main body of paper) file and iii) files of Tables and Figures. The cover letter must contain with information about the title of the paper, author/s name and acknowledgment if necessary. All authors should appear with their full names, affiliations, telephone numbers and email addresses. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. The manuscript should contain introduction to conclusion, the list of references, a list of captions for Figures and Tables without any information about the authors of the Figures and Tables. Equations, Figures and Tables must be referred to in the text in numerical order. Footnotes and endnotes are not entertained. This file must not contain any author information, acknowledgments, figure credits, anonymize self[1]references since it is important in order to keep the review process anonymous. Each Figures and table should be in separate file following the number appeared in the captions in the body text (e.g. Figure 1). The Figures are published in gray scale and make sure the lines and shades used in the Figure are distinctly visible. The number of Figure and Table must not exceed 7. There should not captions in the figure and table. The caption should be only in manuscript file. Very large Tables and long lists should be submitted as “Supplemental Material”. All contributors must assume full responsibility for the contents and opinions expressed in their writings. Before submission of a manuscript, the corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have seen the version of the paper that will be submitted. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Should the Editors find out that significant parts of a paper submitted have been published elsewhere prior to publication in this journal, even though the author confirmed that this is not the case, the paper will be rejected.
