The vision of Purbanchal University Health Journal is to be a leading journal with a high, impact factor in health sciences.with the mission to empower researchers and catalyze research activities by providing unwavering support to fellow researchers. Through this commitment, we aim to foster the development of evidence-based healthcare practices, ultimately improving patient care. We achieve this by publishing top-notch research articles in the biomedical sciences,
Furthermore, with the objectives:
- Disseminate cutting-edge research
- Support researchers, editors, and reviewers
- Cultivate a pool of expert reviewers and
- Provide guidance and assistance for research proposal writing and manuscript preparation.
We accept ORA (Original Research Articles), Review Articles, Case Reports, Case Series, View points, Medical Education and Letters to the editor.

Purbanchal University Health Journal publishes three issues a year.

Purbanchal University Health JournalĀ provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge
Articles in PUHJ are published under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC). This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.
Copyright Policy
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication.
APC Policy
We have no APC (Article Processing Charge) for publication of any type of article. The special issues related to conference proceedings will be charged as per the publisher's decision.
Peer Review Policy
- The author asks for a template of the manuscript via official email
- Managing editor reviews the email and assign a template for authors
- Authors complete the manuscript and inform the journal via official email
- Editor- In-Chief thoroughly reviews the checklist for completeness of submission. (1 Day)
- Managing editor assigns the manuscript to handling editor and shares
- manuscript to the editors. (1 Day)
- Handling editors review and copy edit the submitted manuscript and inform the managing editor (1 Day)
- Managing editor incorporates the feedback and sends to the author. (1 Day)
- Handling editor will check the response of the author. (3 Days)
- Handling editor compiles the response of the authors and informs managing editor. (1 Day)
- Editor-in- chief ensures that the content meets the quality standards, and appropriate ethical requirements. (1 Day)
- Editorial board assigns the manuscript to:
- Two reviewers , Statistical reviewer, and for Plagiarism check (2 Days)
- Reviewers provide feedback to the managing editor (7 Days)
- Managing editor compiles the feedback and sends it to the author (1 Day)
- Author sends corrected manuscript to managing editor (5 Days)
- Managing editor sends the corrected manuscript to the handling editor (1 Day)
- Handling editor sends the corrected manuscript to reviewers (1 Day)
- Reviewers check for rectification of his/her comments and reviewers send feedback to managing editor (2 Days)
- If everything is corrected, the managing editor informs to Chief-In-Editor. (1 Day)
- Chief-in-editor calls for meeting and editorial board decides for acceptance of the manuscript and informs to author and manuscript sends for production. (1 Day)
- Managing editor sends the pdf copy to author for galley proof and Author sends their corrected copy to journal. (3 Days)
- Editorial board check for a galley proof and proof reading. (7 Days)
- Editor in chief submits the article for production (7 Days)
- Editor-in-chief/Managing editors sends article to NepJOL for the generation of DOI (7 Days)
- Final release of article and promotion of layman summary to the general public. (7 Days)
- lf there is a need for further revision and review of the article, same cycle continues.
