The Nepal Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (NJMR) is committed to promoting the broad dissemination of scholarly research while protecting the intellectual property rights of authors.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright to their published work. Submission to and publication in NJMR does not transfer copyright ownership to the journal or its publisher.

Rights Retained by Authors

Authors retain the following rights:

  • Ownership of the copyright for their article.
  • The right to reuse, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display their work in any medium or format.
  • The right to include the published article in books, theses, dissertations, institutional repositories, personal websites, or other scholarly works.
  • The right to use the article for teaching, research, and other non-commercial or commercial purposes, provided appropriate citation is given to the original publication in NJMR.
  • The right to authorize others to use or reproduce the work in accordance with the licence under which the article is published.

Rights Granted to the Journal

By submitting and publishing their manuscript in NJMR, authors grant the Nepal Journal of Multidisciplinary Research a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to:

  • Publish, reproduce, copy, and distribute the article in print and electronic formats.
  • Archive, preserve, and make the article permanently available through the journal website, NepJOL, indexing services, repositories, and other scholarly databases.
  • Identify itself as the original publisher of the work.
  • Promote and disseminate the published article through academic and scholarly communication channels.

Because this licence is non-exclusive, authors remain free to publish, share, and reuse their work elsewhere, provided that the original publication in NJMR is properly acknowledged.

Licence

Unless otherwise stated, all articles published in NJMR are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Licence.

Under this licence:

  • Anyone may read, download, copy, share, redistribute, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published work for any purpose, including commercial use.
  • Users must provide appropriate credit to the author(s), cite the original publication in NJMR, provide a link to the Creative Commons licence, and indicate if changes were made.
  • The licence does not affect the moral rights of the authors.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted work is original and that permission has been obtained for any third-party material included in the manuscript. Authors remain responsible for any copyright infringement arising from the content of their work.

By publishing in NJMR, authors acknowledge that they have read and agreed to this Copyright Policy and the applicable Creative Commons licence.
