About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Lumbini Journal of Language and Literature is published by the Lumbini Banijya Campus, Nepal. It publishes innovative ideas on ELT pedagogy, English Language and Literature, Applied Linguistics, communication, professional development of ELT and contemporary research practices.
Publication Frequency
LJLL has been published twice a year, but intends to move to being an annual publication.
Open Access Policy
LJLL provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Hard Copies
Lumbini Banijya Campus charges Nepalese currency NRS. 350 (Institutional) and NRS. 200 (Individual) per hard copy of the journal. However the journal is open access and there is no subscription fee for the online reading/downloading.
Peer-Review Policy
The Lumbini Journal of Language and Literature is a blind-peer reviewed journal. The manuscripts are sent to two different reviewers without mentioning the author's identiy. It takes six to seven weeks for the review of manuscripts. The editorial board makes the final decision to select or reject the manuscripts for the further process. Moreover, the board takes advice from the advisory board during the selection process.
