Authorship
Authorship- ICMJE recommendations
Journal of Nepalese Society of Critical Care Medicine (JNSCCM) conforms to the authorship recommendations of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). As put forward by ICMJE, credit for authorship will be given to individuals fulfilling ALL the following criteria:
- Has provided substantial contributions to conception and design; or acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data
- Drafting of the article or critical revision for important intellectual content
- Final approval of the version to be published
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the article are appropriately investigated and resolved
All the authors are required to sign an authorship letter stating fulfillment of the authorship criteria. They must also include specifically which author was involved in what step(s) of the study. In case the study is done by a group, atleast one author’s name has to be accompanied along with the group name (e.g. Sharma SR, for critical care study group)
Corresponding author
JNSCCM will allow for one corresponding author for each submission. All forms of correspondence by the journal will be done to the corresponding author. The corresponding author will receive all the emails from the journal during the publication process. This author will be specified in the authorship letter at the time of article submission with agreement by all other authors.
