About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Journal of Educational Research and Innovation (JERI) is a peer reviewed scholarly publication of Mid-West University, Graduate School of Education, Office of the Dean, that seeks to create conversations about education especially; policy, practice, research, teaching and innovation among scholars across the academic disciplines. It is interdisciplinary and bilingual in nature published annually. Teachers and scholars of any field of study and from around the world who are interested in the discourse of higher education (teaching, research, policy, practices, development, innovation etc.) are invited to submit theoretical and empirical research manuscript, reviews, essays, or teacher/scholar reflections.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Educational Research and Innovation is published annually.

Open Access Policy

JERI provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Peer Review Process

JERI is a blind peer reviewed journal. The Editorial Board sends papers to the reviewers after collecting the papers and checking the prescribed format. Reviewers get two weeks to one month for the review and after one month, the Editorial Board requests the reviewers to review and send on time. The Editorial Board makes the final decision according to the feedback of the reviewers.
