Our Nature is the journal brought out by the Nature Conservation and Health Care Council. Our Nature places a special emphasis on research papers, miscellaneous notes, and book review in all fields of biological sciences. It also includes papers in the general fields of theoretical, experimental and descriptive ecology and environmental science.
One volume two issues per year (June & December)
Our Nature uses a single-blind review process for all manuscripts. On the basis of the papers, 3-4 reviewers are chosen for each manuscript based on their expertise. The manuscripts are reviewed by both national as well as international reviewers. The whole review process takes 2-4 months depending upon the reviewer’s schedule. On the basis of the reviewer’s comments, the editorial board decides the acceptance and rejection of the manuscript. Generally, authors are requested to submit their revised manuscript within two weeks. The galley proof will send to the author for final correction before publication.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
