Peer Review Process
The peer review process for SP Swag: Sudur Paschim Wisdom of Academic Gentry Journal is meticulously structured, encompassing six levels of review to ensure the quality and integrity of published research articles.
- Initial Review by Section Editors: Research and review articles undergo an initial review by Section Editors to assess their relevance to the journal's scope with help of managing editor. Section Editors submit draft decisions to the Editor-in-Chief for the final determination of further review or rejection.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Articles approved for further review are sent for double-blind peer review to maintain anonymity and impartiality. Subject expert cooperation is sought to identify suitable peer reviewers for in-depth evaluation.
- Conflict of Interest: The identities of peer reviewers are known only to the managing editor or Editor-in-Chief to prevent conflicts of interest. Articles authored by the managing editor and Editor-in-Chief are not considered for publication to maintain objectivity.
- Review Timeline: The initial review process is expedited and typically completed within twelve weeks to ensure timely feedback to authors.
- Perspectives Review: Perspectives, such as case studies and interviews, are reviewed by Section Editors and approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Perspectives are not subjected to double-blind peer review but undergo thorough editorial scrutiny.
- Six Levels of Review: The review process includes structural checks, plagiarism assessment, grammar and typographic error checks, methodological and formatting evaluations, analysis scrutiny, and final publication checks.
- Editorial Inquiries: For any editorial inquiries or clarifications regarding the review process, authors can contact the journal's editorial team directly.
By implementing a comprehensive peer review process with multiple levels of evaluation, SP Swag: Sudur Pashchim Wisdom of Academic Gentry Journal upholds academic standards, promotes quality research, and ensures the credibility of published content.
