The Journal Sahayaatra सहयात्रा was started in 2017 to bring out the academic researchers who were doing something in their places despite living in the local and remote areas. It gives the priorities to both research articles written in Nepali and English language of any discipline. Indeed, it is a multidisciplinary Journal published annually.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Articles in Sahayaatra सहयात्रा are published with a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence CC BY-NC 4.0. This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.
The Editor-in-Chief and his team, initially check the quality of the article and confirm whether it meets the author's guidelines or not, set by the editorial board. Then, the article is coded in a new identity and sent to the reviewer with the reviewer's guidelines. The editorial team re-forwards the article to the authors when they receive the comments and feedback from the side of the reviewer. Approximately, 3 to 6 months are required for reviewing process. The editorial team finalize whether the article is published only after the recommendation of the reviewer. Indeed, it is a single-anonymized peer review-based publication.
