Abstract

प्रस्तुत लेखमा ‘एउटा बूढो बकैनाको रूख’ कथामा प्रयुक्त प्रजाति र पर्यावरणको विश्लेषण गरी निष्कर्ष निकालिएको छ । यस क्रममा फ्रान्सेली साहित्यिक चिन्तक हिप्पोलाइट अडोल्फ तेनको प्रजाति र पर्यावरणसम्बन्धी सैद्धान्तिक मान्यतालाई प्रयोग गरी त्यही कोणबाट विवेच्य कथाको प्रजाति र पर्यावरणगत परीक्षण गरिएको छ । मूलतः पुस्तकालयीय कार्यबाट सामग्री सङ्कलन गरिएको यस लेखमा सामग्री विश्लेषणका लागि पाठमा आधारित व्याख्यात्मक विधिको प्रयोग गरिएको छ । जाति र पर्यावरणका आधारमा रमेश विकलको ‘एउटा बूढो बकैनाको रूख’ कथाको विश्लेषण गर्दा राष्ट्रियताका लागि मरिमेट्ने नेपाली महाजाति, विभिन्न पेसा र संस्कार भएको नेपाली सांस्कृतिक प्रजाति, तत्कालीन अवस्थाको भयप्रद वातावरण र निरङ्कुश तथा प्रजातन्त्रविरोधी आततायी शासन भएको युगीन सन्दर्भ कथामा प्रस्तुत भएकाले यस कथामा प्रजातिका रूपमा देशका लागि बलिदान हुने महान्जाति नेपाली र पर्यावरणका रूपमा नेपालको काठमाडौं र निरङ्कुश राणाशासनको अवस्थालाई चित्रण गरिएको निष्कर्ष प्राप्त भएको छ ।

{In the present article, the species and environment used in the story ‘An Old Bakaina Tree’ have been analyzed and conclusions have been drawn. In this process, the species and environment of the story have been examined from that angle using the theoretical beliefs of the French literary thinker Hippolyte Adolphe Tene on species and environment. In this article, which originally collected material from library work, the text-based interpretive method has been used for material analysis. While analyzing Ramesh Bikal’s story ‘An Old Bakaina Tree’ on the basis of caste and environment, it has been concluded that the Nepali great race dying for nationalism, the Nepali cultural race with various professions and customs, the frightening environment of the then situation, and the era of autocratic and anti-democratic tyrannical rule are presented in the story. Therefore, it has been concluded that the story depicts the great race Nepali who sacrifices for the country as a species and the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal and the autocratic Rana regime as an environment.}
