Palhi Peace and Enlightenment: Interdisciplinary Journal is published by Palhi Multiple Campus, a purely non-profit, community-based higher education institution located at the center of Ramgram Municipality in the southwest of Nawalparasi District, Ramgram-4, Parasi, Nawalparasi. The campus was established in 2046 B.S. (affiliation date 2046-01-12 B.S.) under Tribhuvan University to run Intermediate level programs in Humanities and Social Sciences. It subsequently obtained Tribhuvan University affiliation to run Bachelor’s classes in Humanities and Social Sciences in 2050-04-15 B.S., One Year B.Ed. in 2060-05-30 B.S., Bachelor in Education in 2064-05-09 B.S., and Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) in 2066-04-04 B.S. Inspired by the desire to impart higher education at the local level, Palhi Multiple Campus is dedicated to accessible, community-driven academic excellence.
Scope and Mission
Palhi Peace and Enlightenment: Interdisciplinary Journal is a peer-reviewed, double-blind, interdisciplinary, open-access academic journal published by Palhi Multiple Campus. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, scholars, and practitioners to publish original research articles, review papers, case studies, short communications, and related scholarly work in the broad field of social sciences.
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (iThenticate) before entering the peer-review process to ensure originality and ethical compliance. The journal prioritizes research that demonstrates innovative ideas, sound methodology, and significant contributions to knowledge.
The journal welcomes manuscripts from diverse disciplines within the social sciences, including education, sociology, economics, political science, psychology, anthropology, history, geography, rural development, public administration, gender studies, cultural studies, communication, development studies, law, public policy, and other related fields. Its mission is to promote quality research, encourage scholarly dialogue, and disseminate knowledge that contributes to social, educational, cultural, and economic development at local, national, and international levels.

The journal publishes one issue per year.

Ethical Approaches and Guidelines
Publication in Palhi Peace and Enlightenment: Interdisciplinary Journal reflects the integrity of authors, reviewers, editors, and institutions. All parties are expected to adhere to high standards of publication ethics.
- Authorship: Limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, or manuscript writing; contributions should be clearly stated.
- Originality and Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be original, with all ideas, data, and words from other sources properly cited; all submissions undergo plagiarism screening before peer review.
- Acknowledgment of Sources: All sources of information, data, and previously published work must be properly acknowledged following appropriate citation practices.
- Reporting Standards: Research methods, findings, and interpretations must be reported honestly and completely; fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting is unacceptable.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation; a conflict of interest statement is required.
- Data Availability: Authors should retain research data and provide access for verification when requested; where appropriate, data sharing is encouraged.
- Errors in Published Works: Authors discovering significant errors after publication should promptly inform the editor and cooperate in corrections or retractions.
- Multiple or Redundant Publication: Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere or previously published in substantially the same form, except for clearly disclosed conference abstracts or preprints.
- Human Participants: Research involving human participants must follow ethical standards, including informed consent and ethics committee approval; ethical approval details should be stated in the manuscript.
- Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts with significant plagiarism or unethical use of others’ work will be rejected.
- Changes to Authorship: Post-submission changes in authorship require written consent from all authors and approval from the Editor; only exceptional cases are considered.
Review Process
Palhi Peace and Enlightenment: Interdisciplinary Journal uses a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure quality and integrity.
Steps generally include:
- Initial screening by the editorial office for completeness, scope, plagiarism, and ethical compliance.
- Editorial assessment of suitability for the journal.
- Assignment of the manuscript to a subject editor.
- Double-blind review by at least two independent expert reviewers.
- Author revision in response to reviewers’ comments.
- Final editorial decision based on reviewers’ recommendations and the revised manuscript.
The Editor-in-Chief holds final authority on acceptance, revision, or rejection, with decisions based solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance.
