Peer-Review Process

Each manuscript will be analysed by the editorial group for quality, appropriateness and manuscript structure for publication. It will then be forwarded to the experts in the appropriate area for peer review. Two to three anonymous reviewers will be assigned for one manuscript. These reviewers provide feedback and constructive comments to the editors and the authors. The peer-review process will take 4 to 6 weeks and the time taken from submission to online publication will take about 12 weeks.

NRJ follows a double blinded peer review process. First review by the editors will be done within 10 days of submission, and authors will be informed about rejection or acceptance for review. Editors will send the article to two reviewers. The review is to be done within 3 weeks with turnaround time on final decision to be 4 to 6 weeks maximum.

Decisions: An editor will take the final decision on including a submission for publication. An original, justified and time-relevant article will be accepted. The scientific content and scientific validity make the most important factor for acceptance. It is important for NRJ to know what new scientific theory or fact has been proven by a given new manuscript and NRJ will focus on this at the time of acceptance. The authors will be informed about their manuscript via email. The authors will receive the decision on their manuscript as: accepted for publication, declined for publication, resubmission with minor changes or resubmission with major changes.
