Focus and Scope

Nepalese Journal of Management and Technology aims to facilitate the rethinking of knowledge, theory, and practice through the publication of cutting-edge research papers in the areas of business studies and allied disciplines, such as economics, finance, human resource, business communication, marketing, general management, business-related IT, globalization, investment, and trade.  We believe that our publications will appeal to both scholars and professionals alike. Hence, our efforts go into ensuring that each paper published in the Nepalese Journal of Management and Technology offers a significant contribution to business literature, remains technically well-crafted, and is of interest to management scholars and professionals alike. We accept research articles and case studies that question existing knowledge, seek novel ideas, and focus on business and management challenges. 

About the Journal

Nepalese Journal of Management and Technology is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed academic journal published by Atlantic International College Research Management Cell. It publishes conceptual, review, and empirical papers in the field of management and allied disciplines such as economics, business communication, and technology related to management. It is dedicated to publishing original and innovative scholarly research papers from faculty members, research scholars, and the student community.

The journal aims to facilitate the rethinking of knowledge, theory, and practice through cutting-edge research in the areas of management studies and information technology, thereby fostering the knowledge of these academic disciplines. The Journal is committed to providing a forum for researchers, academicians, and students to exchange their theories, research findings, and methodologies.

Nepalese Journal of Management and Technology therefore welcomes submissions from the afore-mentioned ranges of scholarship. It invites studies that explore and interrogate existing critical assumptions, conceptual terms, and management frameworks.

Publication Frequency

NJMT publishes two issues per year.

Open Access Policy

The articles in NJMT are published under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial NoDeriviatives International 4.0 Licence (CC BY-NC-ND). This license enables reusers to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form only, for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.

Peer Review Process

An editor on the Editorial Board examines an article to see if it meets the Journal's aim and scope. Manuscripts outside the journal's scope will be rejected at this stage. Moreover, a zero-tolerance plagiarism policy will be applied to the received submission. The papers are plagiarism-free free will be first assured by iThenticate software. If any plagiarism is detected, the article will automatically disqualify for publication. The similarity percentage of an article should not exceed 10%. Articles published in whole or in part in other journals or websites will not be considered for publication.

Papers that meet the requirements of the first states are normally forwarded to a minimum of two impartial professional reviewers for evaluation. The reviewers for the journal are carefully selected considering their academic integrity, expertise and scope, and specialization of the reviewers. The editorial board will communicate back and forth with the reviewers and the authors to maintain the quality and standard of the papers. Before articles are approved for publication, authors may be asked to amend their submissions if required.

At the final stage, the editorial board reserves the right to make changes to the manuscripts to bring them up to the journal's standards for content, presentation, and style. The editors are responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles. They are under no obligation to assign reasons for their decision. Whenever a major correction or revision is deemed necessary from the author(s), the editorial teams will reach out to the corresponding author(s). The corresponding author(s) will receive an e-mail with all instructions for correction. To ensure a fast publication process of the article, authors have to provide their corrections/revisions. Re-submissions made after the given deadline will not be considered for publication.
