About the Journal

Myagdi Guru, in short MG, is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary and multilingual journal. Indexed in NepJOL, the journal publishes research articles on topics related to humanities, social sciences, management and education, presenting an interdisciplinary perspective. Published annually by Myagdi Multiple Campus (MMC), Beni Bazaar, Nepal, the journal appears both in print and online. The published issues can be accessed via the journal page (http://myagdicampus.edu.np/academia/).

The manuscript submitted to the journal should not previously be published or accepted for publication elsewhere, either in full or part, either in English or other languages. Additionally, the authors have full responsibility for all that are expressed in their articles.

Focus and Scope

Myagdi Guru accepts research articles from the researchers, scholars and academicians who are interested in the field of humanities, social sciences, management and education. Priority will be given to the manuscripts that are related to recent developments in topics of interdisciplinary studies.

Publication Frequency

Myagdi Guru is published annually.

Open Access Policy

Myagdi Guru provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Articles in Myagdi Guru are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY). This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their articles. However, the publisher may reuse the published articles with prior permission of the authors.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts will go through several stages of the review process:

  • screening will be assessed by one or more editors to determine whether they fall within the nature and scope of the journal and whether they meet all the requirements of the journal;
  • peer reviewing will be conducted to evaluate the quality of the manuscript;
  • copyediting will be performed by one or more editors for technical correctness and academic style; and
  • proofreading will be done by both desk editors and authors.

The authors will receive feedback from the journal for each stage whether their manuscripts are rejected or accepted for further action. The manuscripts may be rejected at any stage during the review process.

Publisher and Sources of Support

The journal is published by Myagdi Multiple Campus, Beni, Nepal, which is a community institution supported by the government and the public. So, all expenses for review of papers, website, hard copy publication and others are borne by the institution.
