About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The primary goal of the "Kshitiz Management Review" is to foster a robust academic environment that encourages the dissemination of high-quality, scholarly, and empirical research in the fields of business, economics, finance, and other areas of management. Our objectives are to promote academic excellence by providing a platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to publish their innovative and impactful research findings; encourage business and management research by facilitating the integration of diverse management disciplines to address complex business challenges; support knowledge sharing by enhancing the exchange of ideas and knowledge among the academic and professional community; and contribute to policy and practice by influencing management practices and policies through evidence-based research and insights.
Publication Frequency
Kshitiz Management Review publishes two issues a year.
Open Access Policy
KMR provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer Review Policy
Double-blind peer-review process:
- Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
- Ensures impartiality and integrity in the review process.
Unbiased evaluation:
- Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic quality and contribution to the field.
- Focuses on the content rather than the identity of the authors.
Initial review:
- Peer reviewers provide feedback on necessary improvements.
- Authors are informed of these suggestions to enhance clarity, rigor, and relevance.
Revision process:
- Authors revise their manuscripts based on the feedback and recommendations from reviewers.
- Revisions aim to address all suggested improvements.
Plagiarism verification:
- Manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check to ensure originality.
- Plagiarism level must be below 15%, with no more than 2% similarity from a single source.
Further revisions:
- If the plagiarism report identifies excessive duplication, authors must revise the content further.
- Ensures the manuscript meets ethical research standards.
Reassessment:
- Revised manuscripts are reassessed by peer reviewers.
- Reviewers check if all suggested revisions have been adequately addressed.
Final evaluation:
- Reviewers provide their final evaluation of the manuscript.
- Determines whether the paper is approved or disapproved for publication based on quality and ethical standards.
Balanced representation:
- Ensures a proportionate representation of research papers by internal contributors (faculty members of Kshitiz International College) and external contributors (researchers outside the institution).
- Adheres to the guidelines provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Reviewer allocation:
- Each reviewer is allocated a maximum of 2 papers.
- Ensures manageable workload and thorough review.
Review time:
- Reviewers are given 7 to 15 days to complete the review.
- Provides sufficient time for a detailed evaluation.
Editorial Board decision:
- The decision to accept or reject papers after the reviewer's report is secured to the Editorial Board.
- Ensures final decisions are made by a qualified and authoritative body.

The funding for journal publication is supported by the annual budget allocated by Kshitiz International College for the Research Management Cell (RMC).
