About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Kanya Journal aims to develop authors’ academic excellence and readers’ awareness through the valuable research articles written in the standard format of world practice. It expects to produce more of researchers and to produce knowledge based on rigorous study by them.
Publication Frequency
Kanya Journal is published annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Price
Hard copies of the journal are Rs 250 per unit. There is no subscription fee for the journal.
Peer Review Policy
Kanya Journal is a double blind peer reviewed journal. When the editorial team receives an article in the given format, it seeks out experts of the field and requests a peer review. The article without the name of author is sent to two peer reviewers and they are requested to review it following the guidelines within a month. When the team receives the reviewed article, it sees the response and responds to the author with clear instructions. If the article is worth publishing, the editorial board takes the final decision.
Support
Kanya Campus Pokhara supports the publication of journal. The campus is planning to create a separate fund to utilize for research publication activities. We expect support from UGC as well.
