About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Journal of Social Protection aims to bring learnings, issues and voices on social protection to inform development practitioners, researchers and stakeholders working on issues pertinent to social protection. Social protection issues, practices and lessons learnt from Nepal and the South Asian region will help the academic community and policy makers to better reflect on improving policies and planning.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published annually.
Peer-Review Policy
The received article is screened by the editorial board first. The screened articles are then sent to at least two reviewers. The journal follows the double blind peer review system. It asks for detailed comments and the decision of the reviewers with options accepted, accepted with major revision, accepted with minor revision and rejected. If both the reviewers accept the paper, then it is considered for further processing.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
