Journal of Sustainability and Environmental Management (JOSEM) is an international, open access, peer reviewed research journal. JOSEM provides the opportunity to publish research papers, reviews, case studies, technical notes and short communications in different field of environmental science.
Scope includes, but not only:
JOSEM publishes four issues in a year (February, May, August, November).
The copyright of the published papers will be retained by the author(s).
JOSEM is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
JOSEM currently does not charge any article processing fee. No charge is taken at the time of submission or even after the acceptance of the article. If there is any changes in APC, it will informed in advance before submission and will be updated at APC page.
JOSEM is open access (OA) which means free access to information and unrestricted use of electronic resources for everyone. All contents published by this journal is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.
Acts of plagiarism are violations of academic policy and will not be considered in this journal. The ideas or words are allowed with proper attribution or permission from published or unpublished source. JOSEM will check the plagiarism using software at initial phase before sharing the paper to the reviewer.
JOSEM follows a double blind peer-reviewed model for an article to publish in this journal. The publication ethics is mainly based on the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All submitted papers go through initial screening, peer-review and editorial decision stage. The paper goes through double blind review process.
Initial Checks
All submitted manuscripts are checked to ensure they fall within the scope of the journal. The manuscript goes through plagiarism check. Manuscripts that are not properly prepared are returned to the authors for revision and resubmission.
Peer Review
After initial checks, the paper is submitted to at least two independent reviewers. These experts may also include Editorial Board Members of the journal.
Editorial Decision
The comments of the reviewers are shared with the author. The decision includes one of the following
