Focus and Scope

Rigvedic Himalaya: Journal of Vedic Perspectives & Himalayan Cultures, is published annually by the Mukta Foundation, Pokhara. The journal caters to scholars, researchers, cultural enthusiasts, and those interested in Rigvedic studies, Himalayan cultures, and related fields. It aims to promote scholarly work on the intersections of ancient wisdom and modern Himalayan cultural practices.

Open Access Policy

Rigvedic Himalaya provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Articles published in Rigvedic Himalaya are published with a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC). This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator. 

Subscription Rates

Individual (per copy): Rs. 200
Library & Institutions (per copy): Rs. 500
Mailing charges will be applied extra.

Claims: Any claims for missing copies should be made within one month of the
publication. The publisher will provide the missing copy free of cost if confirmed and
if reserve stock permits.

Change of Address: Kindly notify us immediately if you change your address,
providing both old and new addresses. Please allow five weeks for the update.

Back Issues: Back issues, prior to the last year's volume, may be available on request,
depending on stock availability.
