About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Historical Journal was launched in 2010 by the Department of History and Buddhist Studies at Patan Multiple Campus, with the aim of showcasing the enhanced academic performance of faculty members and researchers from various universities and campuses. This peer-reviewed journal is published online to disseminate ideas and research findings across all areas of the humanities and social sciences.

The journal promotes multidisciplinary academic research and explores various aspects of humanities and social sciences. It welcomes a diverse range of papers from fields such as Administration, Anthropology, Archaeology, Buddhist Studies, Culture, Development Studies, Economics, Ethnic Studies, Fine Arts, Geography, Gender and Sexuality Studies, History, International Relations, Journalism, Language, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Nutrition, Philosophy, Social Work, Tourism Development, and other current notable issues.

Each regular issue will include full-length articles, book reviews, correspondence (if any), and other relevant academic information.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published bi-annually.

Open Access Policy

This journal offers immediate open access to its online content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge.
