Peer Review Process

The Crimson Journal of Science and Technology (CJOST) employs a double-blind peer-review method to assure fairness, transparency, and academic excellence. This technique keeps both authors and reviewers anonymous, which prevents bias based on identity, association, or reputation.

Each paper is examined by at least two independent experts in the subject field. The review procedure normally lasts 4-6 weeks from submission to initial determination. Reviewers assess submissions based on their originality, scientific rigor, clarity, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.

Based on feedback, authors may be invited to edit and resubmit their submissions, resolving reviewer criticisms and improving quality. The Editor-in-Chief, after consulting with the Editorial Board, takes the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection.

All submissions go through an initial editorial screening to ensure relevance, ethical compliance, and formatting rules. Accepted manuscripts are copy-edited, and page proofs are sent to authors for approval within 48–72 hours. The journal has the right to reject papers at any point if ethical problems, a lack of scientific value, or noncompliance with rules are detected.

CJOST's rigorous and transparent procedure assures that published research is scientifically robust, ethically sound, and of high academic quality, giving authors with constructive input and readers with dependable knowledge.
