About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The main aim of the Language Commission in publishing Bhashalok भाषालोक is to preserve and promote Nepal's diverse mother tongues language and keep them vibrant, to encourage research related to languages and the enhance knowledge through scholarly articles by experts on topics such as language, script, sociolinguistics and mother-tongue education. It also aims to support language-related study, research, and policy formulation, as well as to strengthen mother-tongue education.

Bhashalok भाषालोक is published annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Peer Review Process
After receiving the articles, each article is sent to an expert peer reviewer based on the subject of the article. The articles are peer reviewed following a single-blind method. The review process takes about two weeks. After the review, the authors are requested to revise the articles as per the reviewer's feedback. On the basis of this peer review and editorial processes, the editorial board made the final decision for selecting the articles for the journal.
