मुक्तिनाथ शर्माको को अछूत ? उपन्यासमा शरीर राजनीति {Body Politics in Muktinath Sharma’s Who Is Untouchable?}

Abstract

प्रस्तुत लेख को अछुत ? उपन्यासमा शरीर राजनीतिको विश्लेषण गर्ने उद्देश्यले तयार पारिएको हो । यस लेखको अध्ययन क्षेत्रका रूपमा मुक्तिनाथ शर्माको उपन्यास र समस्याका रूपमा शरीर राजनीति रहेको छ । यस लेखमा उपन्यासमा शरीर राजनीतिलाई के–कसरी प्रस्तुत गरिएको छ भन्ने प्राज्ञिक जिज्ञासालाई मुख्य समस्या बनाइएको छ । गुणात्मक अध्ययन पद्धतिमा आधारित यस लेखमा प्राथमिक र द्वितीयक स्रोतका सामग्रीको अध्ययन गरी प्राप्त तथ्यका आधारमा पाठविश्लेषण विधिको उपयोग गरी लेखलाई पूर्णता प्रदान गरिएको छ । यस अध्ययनमा सांस्कृतिक अध्ययनअन्तर्गतको शरीर राजनीतिलाई उपन्यास विश्लेषणको सैद्धान्तिक आधार बनाइएको छ । यसै सैद्धान्तिक मान्यताका आधारमा निर्मित सूचकहरू मानव शरीरप्रतिको लैङ्गिक र पितृसत्तात्मक दृष्टि, शक्ति र प्रभुत्वको रूपमा नारी शरीरको प्रयोग, मानव शरीरप्रति उपभोक्तावादी सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि र शरीर राजनीतिप्रति प्रतिरोधी चेतनाका कोणबाट उपन्यासको विश्लेषण गरिएको छ । उपन्यासमा वर्गीय, जातीय र लैङ्गिक रूपमा नारी शरीरलाई आफ्नो फाइदा र इच्छापूर्तिका लागि नियन्त्रण गर्ने प्रवृतिको निरन्तरता रहेकाले प्रस्तुत उपन्यास शरीर राजनीतिका आधारमा विश्लेषणका निम्ति उपयुक्त रहेको निष्कर्ष निकालिएको छ । {The present paper aims to analyze the body politics in Muktinath Sharma’s novel Who Is Untouchable? Sharma’s novel has been taken as a text and body politics as an issue for discussion. This paper deals with how body politics as an issue is presented in the novel. Using qualitative research design, this paper has used both primary and secondary sources to for textual analysis of the novel. Against this theoretical backdrop, the novel has been analyzed from the perspectives of body politics, especially using the parameters such as the point of view of gender and patriarchy, the exploitation of women’s body as a means of power and hegemony, cultural consumerim over women’s body, and the resistance of body politics. The paper concludes that, in terms of class, race, and gender, the males continue to take advantage of a female body and control it.}
