This study examines the relationship between the digitalization of Employee Quality of Work Life (EQWL) in relation to the tourism sector in Nepal. It is a quantitative and positivist research. The descriptive and correlational research design was used. The primary data were collected from 399 tourism employees using the structured questionnaires. Pearson correlation testing was used for data analysis. Results indicate that positive relationships are strong and statistically significant. The digital tool usage, digital competence, organizational digitalization, digitalization adoption and even organizational support are highly correlated with EQWL. Everyone who wants to create a sustainable working environment needs to look at digital transformation from an overall perspective. Integrating technology is a process that demands technical expertise, adoption of technology by the user and strong corporate infrastructure. Theoretically, the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model and the TAM, SDT and DOI models are integrated in this study. In practice, managers need to focus on “user-friendly infrastructure” and on-going competence training. Policy makers should incorporate digital readiness as part of a sustainable tourism program. It uniquely identifies digital competence and organizational support as key resources that have a beneficial buffer from the work stressors in the tourism sector.
