In spite of its popularity, very little is known about the benefits and challenges of private tutoring in English language education. The aim of this study was to explore the benefits and challenges associated with shadow education in the context of teaching English. To achieve this, an interpretive phenomenological approach was adopted, focusing on Vygotsky’s socio- cultural theory as a framework. The data for this research was collected through interviews with participants who actively sought shadow education to improve their English language skills. Three participants waiting for the 12th grade examination results were purposefully selected. Data collection involved conducting interviews, recording audio responses, transcribing the recordings, and taking field notes to capture observations and contextual details. The findings revealed that shadow education has an impact on student’s personal growth and empowerment by enabling them to explore their potential and shape their identity. However challenges such as workloads, financial burdens, and conflicts with existing curricula can impede its effectiveness. This study contributes to the existing knowledge on shadow education by providing an understanding of its dynamics within the context. The study provides insights for policy makers, educators, and researchers by examining the challenges and benefits experienced by individuals involved in shadow education for English language learning. This qualitative research used narrative inquiry as a research approach. The semi-structured interview was used as a data collection process and interview guidelines including open-ended questionnaires were used as research tools. The data were collected from the purposively selected two participants who were studying at bachelor level. This study embraced a phenomenological qualitative research design and involved four English teachers purposively to gather their lived experiences on the phenomena. Informal discussions and semi-structured interviews were used to gather data. Using the Hermeneutic phenomenological method, the data were analyzed. This study used Vygotsky's Social Constructivism as its theoretical foundation (1978). The findings demonstrate that English language teachers have positive perspectives and collaboration experiences in online teacher education. The collaboration develops their confidence, critical analysis, technological skills, and rapport building. The participants expressed that collaboration in teacher education reduces the workload and stress if all the members are equally responsible for the completion of their tasks. To comprehend investor sentiment (IS) and how individual investors make decisions, this study introduced an innovative conceptual framework incorporating herding behavior, market dynamics, and awareness factors. A quantitative methodology was used to conduct the investigation, specifically employing a survey research design. This study made use of primary data that was collected by means of a structured questionnaire and gathered data from 408 individual investors. The convenience sample method was used, while structural equation modeling was used as a statistical tool to test hypothesis. It was determined how the market factor, herd behavior, and awareness affect investors' sentiment and decision-making by using structural equation modeling. The result showed that the most notable factors that affect investors’ sentiment were herding factors. Similarly, in the absence of a moderating variable, investors' sentiment is affected by all variables, including market factors, herding behavior, and awareness factors which have a significant impact on investors decision-making in the Nepal Stock Exchange. This study aims to assist individual investors in Nepal by guiding their investment choices and preventing sentiment-driven errors. It emphasizes the importance of understanding fellow investors' sentiment and suggests that awareness programs can enhance market understanding. Previous research has typically examined only a few factors at a time. This current study explores how various factors affecting investor sentiment—like market factors, herding behavior, and awareness—impact investment decision-making among individual investors in Nepal. उपन्यासमा प्रयुक्त स्वैरकल्पनामा केन्द्रित छ । उपन्यास आख्यान विधाअन्तर्गत पर्दछ । आख्यान र स्वैरकल्पनाका बिच निकटतम सम्बन्ध रहेको पाइन्छ । मौखिक रूपमा प्रचलित हुँदै आएका मिथक, अनुश्रुति, लोककथा आदि स्वैरकल्पनात्मक प्रकारका छन् । आधुनिक कालपूर्वका नेपाली आख्यानमा स्वैरकल्पनाको प्रचुरता पाइन्छ । आधुनिक नेपाली उपन्यासको आरम्भ यथार्थवादसँगै भएकाले तिनमा स्वैरकल्पनाको प्रयोग पाइँदैन । प्रयोगवादी उपन्यासको आरम्भ भएपछि स्वैरकल्पनाको प्रयोग पनि हुन थाल्दछ । उत्तरआधुनिक उपन्यासमा पनि स्वैरकल्पनाको प्रयोग हुने भएकाले हालसम्म पनि नेपाली उपन्यासमा स्वैरकल्पनाको प्रयोग पाइन्छ । स्वैरकल्पना मूलतः मनोविश्लेषणात्मक सिद्धान्तसँग सम्बन्धित छ । मनोविश्लेषणले मानवस्वभावको गहन अध्ययन गर्दछ । सिग्मन्ड फ्रायडले अचेतनका आधारमा विभिन्न मनोवैज्ञानिक सिद्धान्तको व्याख्या गरेका छन् र त्यसै क्रममा स्वैरकल्पनाको पनि व्याख्या गरेका छन् । ज्याक लकाँले फ्रायडको मनोविश्लेषणात्मक सिद्धान्तको पुनर्पठन गरेका छन् । उनले पनि स्वैरकल्पनाको चर्चा गरेका छन् । तिनै सिद्धान्तका आधारमा प्रस्तुत अध्ययन गरिएको छ लिखित कथासङ्ग्रह सनेस (२०७९) मा सङ्गृहीत ‘अवाक’ शीर्षकको कथा चयन गरिएको छ । यस कथामा उपमा अलङ्कारको धेरै प्रयोग गरिएको तर यसलाई आधार बनाएर यसअघि अध्ययन नगरिएको साथै उपमा अलङ्कारका आधारमा विश्लेषण गर्न उपयुक्त देखिएकाले प्रस्तुत शीर्षक चयन गरिएको हो । अवाक कथामा केकति प्रकारका उपमा अलङ्कारको प्रयोग भएको छ र प्रयुक्त अलङ्कारले कथालाई कसरी रोचक बनाएका छन् भन्ने मुख्य समस्या र यसको प्राज्ञिक समाधान खोज्ने उद्देश्यमा आधारित यस अध्ययनमा अलङ्कारको सैद्धान्तिक अवधारणा स्पष्ट पार्नका लागि द्वितीयक स्रोतको उपयोग गरिएको छ भने प्राथमिक स्रोतका रूपमा अवाक कथालाई लिइएको छ । यसरी विश्लेषणका लागि उपमा अलङ्कारलाई सैद्धान्तिक आधार बनाइएको छ र व्याख्यात्मक एवं विश्लेषणात्मक विधिका माध्यमले कथाको अध्ययन गरिएको छ । संस्कृतसाहित्यका मुख्य सिद्धान्तअन्तर्गत रस, ध्वनि, अलङ्कार, वक्रोक्ति आदि पर्दछन् । यसरी अलङ्कार पनि स्थापित मुख्य सिद्धान्तभित्रै पर्दछ र यसका धेरै प्रकारमध्ये उपमा पनि एक मुख्य अलङ्कार हो । यसका पूर्णोपमा, लुप्तोपमा, उपमेयोपमा आदि पाँच प्रकार छन् । तिनमध्ये विवेच्य कथाभित्र पूर्णोपमा, मालोपमा र लुप्तोपमा गरी तीन प्रकारका उपमाको प्रयोग भएको पाइएको कुरा जनाइएको छ र तिनमा प्रयुक्त उपमान मौलिक हुनाका साथै उपमा अलङ्कारका प्रयोगले कथा सुन्दर र रोचक बनेको जनाइएको छ । समग्रमा प्रस्तुत कथा लेखको शोध क्षेत्र र समस्या सोद्देश्य रूपले चयन गरिएको हो । उपन्यासले सन्दर्भित गरेको दिक्काल स्वतस्फुर्त, स्वाभाविक र प्राकृतिक स्थिति होइन । सन्दर्भित दिक्कालका पछाडि रहेका कारक घटकको बाह्य प्रतिफलन उपरीसंरचना हो । साहित्यको समाजशास्त्रले यसको घटकीय सम्बन्ध तथा परिणाम अध्ययन गर्छ । यस लेखमा अनुसन्धानको रिक्ततालाई प्राज्ञिक रूपले सम्बोधन गर्न पुस्तकालय कार्यबाट प्राप्त सामग्री प्रयोग गरिएको छ । त्यसैले प्राथमिक (दौपदी अवशेष) तथा द्वितीयक (दौपदी अवशेष उपन्यासका बारेमा भएका अध्ययन र साहित्यको समाजशास्त्रसँग सम्बद्ध सैद्धान्तिक) सामग्रीको स्रोत पुस्तकालय हो । विश्लेषणका निम्ति आरम्भमा निगमनात्मक प्रक्रिया अपनाइएको छ भने मण्डन तथा सत्यापनका क्रममा आगमनात्मक विधि प्रयोग गरिएको छ । विश्लेषणका सैद्धान्तिक प्रारूपबाट अवधारणा निर्माण तथा त्यसबाट प्राप्त पृष्ठपोषणका आधारमा कृतिका साक्ष्यको तर्कसङ्गत विश्लेषण गरी प्रस्तुत लेखको अध्ययन प्रक्रिया सम्पन्न गरिएको छ । द्रौपदी अवशेष उपन्यास नेपालको पश्चिमोत्तर हिमाली जिल्ला हुम्लाको समाज चित्रणमा केन्द्रित छ । यस उपन्यासमा कुनै पनि समुदाय र समाज त्यहाँको प्राकृतिक चयनप्रक्रियाको परिणाम हो, प्रकृतिले प्रदान गरेका जैविक आधार तथा ती आधारसँग अनुकूलीकृत हुने क्रमको स्थिति हो भन्ने विचारलाई सत्यापन गरिएको छ । यसै मान्यतामा हिमाली जीवनप्रक्रिया सञ्चालित भएको सन्दर्भलाई आख्यानीकरण गरिएको निष्कर्ष छ । जीवननिर्वाहको गति उत्पादनश्रमसम्बन्ध तथा त्यसले प्रदान गरेका प्रतिफलनमा आधारित हुन्छ । त्यसैगरी समाज निश्चित साझा परम्परागत विश्वास, प्रचलन तथा अन्धविश्वासलाई ग्रहण गर्ने परिपाटीबाट गुज्रिएको हुन्छ । यसै आधारमा एकै महिलालाई दुई वा सोभन्दा बढी पुरुषले पत्नीका रूपमा स्वीकार्ने चलन बस्नु पनि महाभारतकालीन द्रौपदी विवाहको नेपाली निबन्धका रूपमा २०४६ यता लेखिएका नेपाली निबन्धलाई मानिएको छ । यहाँ समकालीन निबन्धहरूको प्रतिनिधिमूलक रचनालाई विश्लेषण गर्नका लागि विचारपक्षका आधारभूत मान्यतालाई सैद्धान्तिक ढाँचाका रूपमा अवलम्बन गरी सोद्देश्यमूलक नमुना छनोट पद्धतिबाट पाठगत तथ्याङ्क सङ्कलन गरी सघन विश्लेषण गरिएको छ । यसका निम्ति समकालीन नेपाली निबन्धमा विषयका रूपमा प्रयुक्त जीवन र जगत्सम्बन्धी विचारका लागि पौरस्त्य दर्शन, अस्तित्वसम्बन्धी विचारका लागि पाश्चात्य अस्तित्ववादी दर्शन र सामाजिक पक्षसँग सम्बद्ध समाजशास्त्रीय चिन्तनका विचारगत सन्दर्भलाई सैद्धान्तिक ढाँचाका रूपमा उपयोग गरी वर्णनात्मक तथा व्याख्यात्मक रही निजात्मकतालाई विषय र आधार बनाएर प्रस्तुत गरिएको छ । मूलतः गुणात्मक प्रकृतिको अनुसन्धानमा आधारित रहेको यस लेखमा विवेच्य निबन्धमा प्रयुक्त कथ्य र निबन्धकारका चिन्तनको विश्लेषण गर्नु सान्दर्भिक रहेको व्यवस्थापन कला, इतिहास, पठनसंस्कृति एवम् बजारीकरणमा भन्दा साहित्यको विकासमा जोड दिनुपर्ने, मातृत्व, स्वअस्तित्व, स्वपहिचान महत्त्वपूर्ण हुने निजी अनुभूतिका पक्ष सबल रहेको, आत्मसाक्षात्कार नै परमानन्द
