The research study critically analyzes how the Gen Z movement that has led to the political change in September 2025. It has adopted the text analysis methods of identifying and analyzing the articles published by two of the leading news websites of Nepal; Onlinekhabar and Setopati, in the time period of September 8th and September 13th, 2025. The data indicates that there are two incidents, one of which glorifies the Gen Z generation and the power of the digitarian generation that could bring down a political regime that has been intact for the last 35 years. And the other that demotes the relevance of the movement because of the element of violence included in the movement and the fact that the movement is a largely urban centric and thus disempowers the generation through exclusion from political voting rights even though the credit of a constitutional crisis triggered within the regime is the generation. The study concludes that the movement, although a true reaction of the people towards the issues of nepotistic and elitist governance through systemic and administrative levels of corruption, has nevertheless been scapegoated through the political framing of the crisis caused within the regime that has brought into disfavor the digitarian generation of Nepal through the power of language used and the exclusion of the generation within the political framework.
