Exploring Gender’s Impact on Career Trajectories in Nepal’s Civil Service Sector

Gender plays a significant role in influencing opportunities, experiences, and career development. This study aimed to examine associations between gender, traditional role expectations, workplace gender discrimination, and career development in Nepal’s civil service sector. A quantitative research approach was used among personnel of the Department of Livestock Services, Lalitpur. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed using Chi-square tests, Fisher’s Exact Test, and the Mann–Whitney U Test.
