The children between 12 to 23 months were more anemic 76 (30.5%) followed by 6 to 11 months, 68 (27.3%) and signifies children less than 2 years are more anemic. Most of the children were mild anemic 125(50.2%), followed by 124 (49.8%) moderate and none were severely anemic. Morphologically, microcytic hypochromic anemia was the commonest type, 159 (63.9%) followed by microcytic normochromic 57 (22.9%). Children not dewormed, 152 (61.05%), were more anemic.
