The present paper aims to study the factors that influence the stress of healthcare workers in a Nepalese healthcare setting. The study used a quantitative cross-sectional study design. The study participants consisted of 150 employees of the Dhulikhel Hospital in Nepal, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. The study used a five-point Likert scale to measure the responses of the participants. The findings revealed that the stress level among the workers is high (Average = 2.87). The regression analysis showed that the personal characteristics of the workers are the only predictor of stress, with a β value of 0.516, p < 0.001, accounting for 36.2% of the total variation. Interpersonal issues, the work environment, and management issues did not show a significant impact. Management issues showed the highest adverse ratings, with an average of 2.78, specifically in terms of recognizing the workers.
