Focus and Scope

Crossing the Border: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies has closed down. It was a peer-reviewed, open access international journal published by the Heralo Academy of Nepal. The journal published original research articles on all aspects of humanities and social sciences, and presented an interdisciplinary perspective.

Although it was multidisciplinary in scope, the journal was interdisciplinary in content and approach. Disciplines and topics included, but were not limited to the following: humanities and social sciences.

The authors have full responsibility for all views that are expressed in their articles.

Peer-Review Process

This journal is no longer being published, so please do not submit your manuscripts. The articles already published were peer-reviewed in the following manner:

All articles passed through three stages: editors, desk editors and reviewers. All three personnel will assess the submitted manuscripts for originality, validity, and relevance.

The submitted articles were reviewed by two or more reviewers who were asked to evaluate whether the manuscript was publishable or not. The editors reached a decision based on the reports sent by the reviewers and in consultation with the editorial board.

In general, the journal operated a double-blinded review system.
